Coupling your PayPal account and other payment service providers with SAP
In times of progressive digitization and the disappearance of cash, not least because of the corona pandemic, online payment services are becoming increasingly important.
The leading service provider in this industry is the US group PayPal, which, with around 300 million users in over 200 markets, makes payments in over 100 currencies possible. Bank accounts and credit cards can be linked to the PayPal account, so that PayPal can bundle the mapping of many different accounts and is becoming increasingly useful in business operations. Linking PayPal to SAP is therefore an unfulfilled wish for many companies.
GOpus® Payment Service Integration
With the GOpus® PayPal Integration interface, the PayPal transactions can be picked up and read into your SAP system.
The transaction data is converted from the PayPal format to the SWIFT MT940 format when it is imported. The MT940 file corresponds to an electronic account statement and contains all relevant information on bank transactions. The new cam.053 format (CAMT format) introduced in November 2025 is also supported with this solution.
